About The Project:

The project is implemented at the expense of the Japanese loan All concealed excavation and open excavation works for the project were referred to our company specialized in this field and as a named subcontractor fixed in the contract with the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Labor under the supervision of the Ministry of Housing and Construction and with Almeer company from Kuwait.

The period of completion of the work is twenty months.

Work stages

The first stage:-

crossing the shatt al-arab river in the garma ali region by making a shaft enter the drilling machine on the river side with a depth of 28 meters and the tunnel under the river with length of 400 meters ussing concrete pipes with diameter of 2600 mm from inside and 3100 mm from outside, wich are designed within standard specifications prepared for this project a 1600 mm diameter ductile pipe passes through it this is considered the first work in iraq with this depth and technology under the river.

DEVELOPMENT OF SITE WORKS AND PROJECTS

Specialized high-load cranes are used for the purpose of drilling to a depth of 28 meters and by using special molds to pour the walls of the shafts, where the work is in the form of sinking the pits and the work of the tunnel by a German-origin jacking machine with a diameter of 2600 mm with all its attachments.

In addition to excavators, flippers and loaders, according to work requirements.

Second stage of the project:-

  1. Crossing congested Intersections In the province along the length of the project.
  2. Crossing Highway on the line path.
  3. Railroad crossing.

The work shall be by using a 2000 mm diameter- jacking machine made In Germany and drilling depths between 10-8 meters underground and the concrete pipes used In the tunnels with a diameter of 2000 mm from the Inside and 2400 from the outside and passing Inside the pipe, ductile pipes of different diameters.
